Traditional Practice

Ashtanga Yoga taught in the tradition of Guruji Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Grounds and restores health to the physical body. This is the classical Primary Series (Yoga Cikitsā) that is taught in many places around the world. Here we learn to link the posture (Asana) with breath (Pranayama) and transition (Vinyasa) with precision, never missing a single breath.

Strength building postures for the Intermediate series such as Bakasana are sometimes visited in addition to the traditional practice.
